The intensive work on the subject of space, environment and environment characterizes the artistic work of Sabine Geierhos and Kathrin Schneider. In both cases, it is not only the outer space, ie urban and natural space, that is meant, but also, in particular, an intensive examination of the pictorial space. For the dissolution of their motifs in colors and surfaces, which define the pictorial space, they both find their own, highly contrasting and highly convincing solutions in the exhibition.

PR Info _ Die intensive Auseinandersetzung mit dem Thema Raum, Umraum, Umwelt prägt die künstlerische Arbeit von Sabine Geierhos und Kathrin Schneider. Dabei ist in beiden Fällen nicht nur der Außenraum, also Stadt- und Naturraum gemeint, sondern ganz speziell auch eine intensive Auseinandersetzung mit dem Bildraum. Für die Aufösung ihrer Motive in Farben und Flächen, die den Bildraum definieren, finden beide eigene, in der Ausstellung kontrastierend gegenüber gestellte und höchst überzeugende Lösungen.
